Shipping & Returns
We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.
When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page
Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
Our main priority is you. You've chosen to order with us and we really appreciate your custom, therefore, we aim to dispatch as quick as we can and generally our record is within 2-5 days* The length of time to reach your address can vary according to postal services and location.
Postal and courier services operate Monday-Friday.
*with the exception of busy periods such as Christmas, restock times and when we have a specific SALE on. Even then, our main priority is to get you your order dispatched as soon as we can.
After You've Made Your Purchase:
You should receive the following via email:
1. A receipt via PayPal
2. An order summary with order number e.g #2057 from Blank Canvas Cosmetics. If you do not receive this within 10 hours of purchase, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
3. it is important you enter your full address correctly at time of ordering. Should you notice on your receipt that you have misspelled or included incorrect details, please contact us immediately as once goods are despatched, we cannot be responsible for errors made on your behalf. Orders shall not be resent /refunded/cancelled should an address error be made.
Once We Dispatch:
Once we have dispatched, unfortunately the time it takes to reach you is out of our control. Delivery times can vary from country to country. We can give you an estimated time only. The postal service we use is ANPOST and we use their transit estimator: http://postage.anpost.ie/transit.asp which gives an estimated transit time from Ireland to your country. Transit times vary according to the size and weight of a package.
Estimated transit times to Ireland: 1-2 business days after dispatch.
Estimated transit times to the UK: 2-4 business days after dispatch.
Estimated transit times within Europe: 3-8 working days after dispatch.
Estimated transit times to other international countries: 5-12 working days after dispatch.

A flat rate Postage and Packaging fee of €2.40* is charged on all items under €60. (excluding Palette Store items which have a fixed P&P cost of €3.99 per item)
COURIER SERVICE WITHIN 32 COUNTIES OF IRELAND : we offer a courier service option using Fastway Couriers. This guarantees delivery with tracking straight to your door! Please ensure you provide the correct contact telephone number when ordering so as the courier can reach you upon delivery.

LOST OR DELAYED PACKAGES (STANDARD POST)
99% of the time, standard post is very effective and efficient. In the event that a customer reports a package undelivered after the estimated time of delivery (http://postage.anpost.ie/transit.asp) , we then aim to track the delayed or missing package with ANPOST parcel "missing parcel investigation" This will ensure we find out where exactly the item is e.g if it's been delivered and where to. The system has proven very effective for us. Please note: we cannot send out a repeat order until we retrieve the missing item.
*The company will not be responsible for missing items should you give postal instruction other than your own address such as "if not in, leave in rubbish bin at back of house" or "leave in neighbour's porch" or any instructions of such nature.
RETURNED PACKAGES AS A RESULT OF NOT BEING PICKED UP/NOT POSSIBLE TO DELIVER TO CUSTOMER
Should we receive a parcel which has been undelivered and returned to us, we will notify you. In this instance, payment will be required to resend the item.
As we are based in Ireland, countries within the EU will not be charged customs duties.
COUNTRIES OUTSIDE THE EU
You, the customer are responsible for all customs taxes or other duties incurred. This can vary from country to country . It's advisable to check your own country's policy and rates to avoid any unexpected tariffs.
We want to be as helpful and approachable as we can be when it comes to making sure you are happy with your purchases.
If you receive a defective item for example: a faulty brush or broken palette, we'll ask you to return the faulty good(s) and we will send you a replacement(s) as soon as we receive the returns. You'll be asked to complete a brief form with your reasons for return so we can ensure we better our services to you, the customer. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect)
PALETTES: Please Note: We double check every palette before dispatch and ensure they leave us in perfect condition. We go to great efforts to pack palettes so that they arrive to you undamaged. It is out of our control how your package is handled once it leaves us however should your palette arrive damaged we ask that you contact us immediately(within 1 day of receipt of defective good(s). During transportation, goods may be damaged. We ask that you take great care when opening palettes.
Despite the careful wrapping that takes place with the palettes, some palettes will still be damaged during transportation. As the palettes are very affordable, we cannot replace every palette for minor damage. Here are a few tips as to what you can do:
- Take a few drops of medicinal alcohol
- Flatten the powder compact with a little bit pressure
- Leave it for one day, and the alcohol will be evaporated completely, then the make-up will be as good as new one.
In the event of a very badly damaged palette, we ask you contact us straight away. For return of palettes, we do not incur the shipping cost of return.
Unhappy with your purchase?
We would hope you are satisfied with all your purchases however, should you wish to return brushes or a brush set/airbrush blender, we ask that you complete the returns form and notify us via email , email@example.com within 30 days of purchase.
Due to the nature of our products, all returns must be received unopened and unused in its' packaging within 30 days. Upon receipt of your returned goods, we will issue a refund less postage to your PayPal account. Alternatively, store credit can be used as exchange for your returned goods.
REFUNDS You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
PLEASE NOTE: It is expected for some natural hair brushes to shed slightly for the first 3-4 uses after washing. Should a large amount of shedding continue, please contact us and we will arrange for the problem brushes to be returned (postage paid) so we can investigate further and we will send you replacement brushes.
